William Alverio

William Alverio , or "Mr. A," currently serves as Head Choir Director and Student Council Co-Sponsor in Red Oak ISD, where he serves 6-8th grade students. Alverio graduated from Baylor University (C/O 2025) with a Bachelor of Music Education (BMEd) in Choral Music - Vocal Emphasis, & English as a Second Language Supplemental Certificate. Alverio has served on the instructional staff of Baylor TIP since 2023, teaching and assisting at Super Saturdays, special interest classes, and University for Young People (UYP).  In addition to his work in Red Oak and at Baylor, Alverio is currently pursuing NBPTS National Certification and graduate coursework. With special interests in talent development/musical aptitude, Ethnomusicology, and composition, he is delighted to be a part of the growing Moody School of Education Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development.
