Tammy Mathis, M.Ed.

Tammy Mathis has taught 4th and 5th graders for most of her teaching career. She is piloting a K-5th grade STEM class at Park Hill Elementary for Midway ISD during the 2025-2026 school year. She earned a Journalism degree from Texas A&M University and a Master's in Educational Leadership from Baylor University. She loves to guide students through productive struggle to gain academic and social growth. When she's not teaching, she can be found in her kitchen, buried in good book, or piddling in the garden.
