Sunay Bulgurcu, Ph.D.

Sunay Bulgurcu, PhD, is an assistant professor in Gifted Education. She received her bachelor’s degree in Guidance and Psychological Counseling from Boğaziçi University in Istanbul, Turkey and her Ph.D. in the Gifted Education program in the Department of Special Education at Hacettepe University. She has been working as school counselor since 2005 for the Ministry of National Education (MoNE) in Türkiye. Her research interest focus on identification/ career development of gifted and talented students, especially from Low SES. She is the recipient of Travel Bursary of European Conference on Educational Research (ECER) 2026, in Tampere, Finland.
