Maddie Bowen

Maddie Bowen is a Dallas-Fort Worth-based choir director and a 2026 graduate of Baylor University, where she earned her Bachelor of Music Education. She is a Plano native and multi-generational Baylor Bear. Her professional background includes directing ensembles at Vanguard College Preparatory School, clinical teaching at Plano West Senior High School, and teaching at Pediatrics Plus Developmental Preschool. In addition to her work in the classroom, Maddie is a recognized researcher specializing in music teacher burnout and rest practices among educators. She has co-authored three published papers and has presented her findings at the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) and the Tennessee Arts Academy. Maddie is a Level 2 Google Certified Educator and an active member of TMEA, TCDA, and ACDA.
