With a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Iowa State University, Bryan Hendrickson has dedicated over two decades to fostering a love of learning in elementary students. Since beginning his teaching career at Glenhope Elementary in 1998, Mr. Hendrickson has taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades, consistently focusing on creating hands-on, exploratory learning experiences that ignite curiosity and build essential social and teamwork skills.
Passionate about science and STEM education, Mr. Hendrickson has led numerous STEM-based activities, allowing students to dive deeper into scientific inquiry while developing problem-solving skills critical for the next generation of leaders in engineering, technology, and science. Through innovative projects, Mr. Hendrickson has inspired students to see learning as both an exciting adventure and an opportunity to shape the future.
As a Teacher of the Year award recipient and an experienced team leader, Mr. Hendrickson has demonstrated exceptional leadership in the classroom and beyond. Collaborating with colleagues and guiding new educators, Mr. Hendrickson is committed to building an inclusive, dynamic, and engaging learning environment that encourages every child to reach their full potential.
