Amy Becker

Amy Becker is currently a Gifted and Talented Specialist in Midway ISD where she teaches gifted learners in grades 1-5. She has taught for 14 years in various positions including 1st grade, middle school English, and as an elementary GT Specialist in multiple districts. Amy earned both her Bachelor of Science degree in Education and her Master of Science degree in Educational Psychology at Texas A&M University. She has a passion for teaching gifted students, while building relationships with them and serving their social, emotional, and academic needs. She loves providing engaging opportunities for gifted learners that help to foster their creativity and interests. Amy enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and reading.
